The first event of Made in BOA took place on 3rd March 2012 in St Margaret's Hall.  It gave an opportunity for networking and meeting local industries leaders including Moulton Bicycles, a world renowned and innovative design company will be showcasing this event as well as interacting with the public.  As well as providing a chance to purchase a truly unique and handmade item.

Community Website

In January 2011 WilCAP, the newly established Community Area Partnership supporting Wilton and surrounding villages, set up a community website.

The Vice Chair of the partnership has set up the site from scratch using a free website platform.  The aim is to attract repeat visits by having a 'Home' page where current news & information relevant to the Wilton Community Area are posted regularly. For the interested or curious, there are numerous ways of easily finding information about previous posts or specific local topics, via the monthly archives, categories & 'tag cloud'.

The site also has 'static' pages of information about WilCAP, meetings & how to contact them. As well as 'links' to the websites of other local groups & organisations.

In 2011, the website had over 1,500 views. And in just the first 2 months of 2012 they've have already had over 500 hits.

They're asking the community what they'd like to see on the website - all ideas are welcom
